I was very lucky to acquire some of these images taken by a former High Royds employee which document the building around
the time of its closure in 2003.
They are a valuable snapshot in time, and strange for me to see signs of life in a place that I am so used to exploring
in eerie silence. They also give a good comparison to record the increasing damage and decay.
